Is The World A Cesspit? :)

by david on Sunday 9th February 2020

It’s just been coming up in my mind, regarding the memory of something one of my dearest best friends told me quite a long time ago now, about their opinion that: ‘the world’s a cesspit’. This has also led my mind to reflect upon something another best friend has told me within the last week or so, regarding their feeling that they’ve had enough of life, they’re sick of life. I could understand, and even somewhat agree, with what my two best friends were saying here, but for the sake of accuracy and correct :) positive :) understanding :) I’m going to offer my thoughts regarding these possibilities now :)

When my best friend told me a long time ago regarding their cesspit concept of the world, I did pretty much agree with them, unfortunately. I could understand, and agree, that the dysfunctional, and discouraging, culture I’ve been identifying in this science, has been running rampant around the world, that it’s pervasive, that the illnesses involved are getting passed around and handballed around between people’s minds undetected and untreated, in ways that are more common than how the common cold and flu is getting shared around between people. You could describe the rampant manner in which illnesses in peoples’ minds are getting passed around as being like a plague upon our peoples in this world, and I think I did describe it quite similarly to this in the book I wrote last year (which is freely available for you to read through the attachment link on blog post number 39).

However! :) One important point :) and key understanding :) contrasts my perspective from my best friend’s regarding the ‘world is a cesspit’ conclusion :) That is that, yes, the illnesses in people’s minds are making the world like a cesspit in many ways, in many places, and on many occasions, but that there are many occasions and many ways in which there are things and people and places and activities happening in our world that are not like a cesspit at all :) in fact they can be quite the opposite :) Or in other words :) that is to say :) that the cesspit is the illnesses in peoples’ minds, but that since those illnesses are in fact highly detectable :) and highly treatable :) and there are many occasions and people and places in which the illnesses are less or even not present or prevalent at all :) this is not the entirety of our world :)

There definitely are cesspit experiences, interactions with other people, places, times, feelings, thoughts, words, actions and environments that do occur and arise on this planet, for sure. And depending on how we live our life – what and how we think, speak, and do things ourselves – as well as just the general luck and fortune of where we find ourselves in life on this planet, we might experience much more or much less of the cesspit. But the key point is that we can take control :) we have power :) as individual human beings :) and collectively :) in the ways we think :) speak :) and act :) in the choices we make :) in the interests and involvements we incline towards in our days and lives :) in our world :) to either increase the cesspit nature of our world, or to reduce it :)

In answer to the question posed in this blog title then :) “Is the world a cesspit?” I suppose the answer is :) yes and no :) Unfortunately yes is a part of the answer - the world can be a cesspit at times. That’s usually why many of my best friends come and see me in the clinical psychology psychotherapy office for individual sessions… or what motivates me and my best friends to come along to the support group. But on the other hand :) fortunately :) no is a part of the answer too :) and we can make it a big part of our own individual :) and collective :) answer :) or response :) to the problem of ‘cesspit’ processes :) by disinclining :) being disinterested in :) and not involving  ourselves in any cesspit processes, any sort of ‘cesspit culture’ at all :) while positively inclining :) involving ourselves in :) and getting interested in :) all the good things :)

Cesspit culture, cesspit illnesses, are the culprits, within ourselves as individuals, and within our world as a human collective, causing our troubles and so many problems, not only just for us human beings, but for the whole planet and everything within it.

Getting back to what my other best friend was saying to me recently, regarding that they’re sick of life and they’ve had enough of life… I listened very empathically while my best friend told me about their thoughts and feelings, their story of what’s made them feel this way, for a long time, and again I could completely understand, and mainly agree with what they were saying.

But :) again :) there was one main difference :) between my perspective and theirs :) which jumped out at me from the very beginning of their telling me :) and which I patiently waited until the right time to share with them :) After they’d explained their thoughts, feelings and experiences to me in detail and at length :) I suggested that it struck me they’re sick of the unwell culture, they’ve had enough of the unhealthy culture, which has been so all-encompassingly surrounding them in their life, their mind, and their world, that they’ve understandably concluded that it’s the only option in life, and have unconsciously associated it with life itself, as if having a sick and diseased mind, experiencing an ill and infected world, is synonymous with life itself. I encouraged my best friend that I feel they’re sick of the diseases, they’re sick of the disabling and dysfunctional, discouraging culture, of the many illnesses people are carrying around in their minds, that they’ve themselves been ferociously infected with, rather than sick of life itself :)

I encouraged my best friend that there’s another option :) that’s better :) more accurate :) and healthy :) than feeling like we’re sick of life as a whole itself :) which is to be sick of that toxic unwell culture, and to opt in to a healthier culture :) And what exactly are those unhealthy patterns that I describe as being an illness in peoples’ minds and hearts, and which creates more of a cesspit world? I’d describe them in this way at this present time (which is perhaps a different way from which I’ve ever described it before throughout this training programme, but then again I’m not sure as I’ve said and shared so much through this programme already): rejection, exclusion, ostracism, criticism, shouting, abusing, bullying, neglecting, anger, fighting, judging, hating, blaming, shaming, abandoning, ‘ghosting’, boasting, deceiving, stealing, conditionality, inconsistency, instability, cheating, lying, hurting, harming, ‘charming’ (in a false, superficial sense – genuinely good things can be charming in a real and purehearted sense though), addiction, drugs and alcohol, hidden agendas, ulterior motives and unwholesome motivations or intentions, forcing, killing, battles, warfare, pushing, undermining, teasing, and demanding. These are some of the main hurtful, harmful patterns that are coming into my mind at the moment, that divide people, that make us untrustworthy to ourselves and each other, and that cause so many troubles to us all on this planet.

Both of my best friends that I’ve talked about in this blog post are doing so very well :) They’re doing awesome! :) opting out of those troubled cultural patterns :) and disinfecting their hearts and minds of those cruel cultural contaminants :) by sharing time with someone really purehearted like me :) who exudes a healthy culture :) They’re both doing so fantastic :) to share their thoughts, feelings and experiences with me :) and learn about a different way of thinking :) speaking :) and doing things :) that brings so much relief :)

And what exactly is the healthy culture :) the positive and wellness-creating ways I’m sharing with them? :) It’s these beautiful patterns that anyone can imbibe within their own mind :) and heart :) and exude :) of: welcoming :) inclusion :) praise :) encouragement :) embracing :) friendliness :) friendship :) goodness :) innocence :) integrity :) virtue :) morals :) ethics :) love :) kindness :) calmness :) logic :) care :) consideration :) thoughtfulness :) empowerment :) supportiveness :) upskilling :) straightforwardness :) honesty :) openness :) transparency :) equality :) democracy :) fairness :) non-judgement :) forgiveness :) compassion :) liberation :) freedom :) communication :) connecting :) humility :) giving :) understanding :) unconditionality :) acceptance :) consistency :) stability :) helping :) balance :) awareness :) wholesome motives :) gentleness :) softness :) patience :) resilience :) endurance :) tolerance :) diligence :) nonviolence :) respecting :) and relaxing :)

In other words :) it’s about creating a safe environment :) a generally positive atmosphere :) in which people :) animals :) and everything :) can let down their guard :) and let go of so much stress :) because they’re no longer threatened in any way :) They can :) and do :) feel protected :) and over time :) in these nourishing conditions :) people :) and everyone :) and everything :) can grow :) flourish :) and thrive :) and realise there’s a world :) a life :) a culture :) a way :) which is no cesspit at all :) and that they’ll never get sick of :) or have enough of :) because it’s so fulfilling :)

I remember talking about at a previous time on the blog at least once :) how when people who are struggling share a bit of time with me :) they often comment :) ‘I feel better’ :) after not long :) The reason is because I’m sharing this healthy culture with them :) I’m sharing the Science of the Mind :) the science of kindness :) the science that unveils the potential of our true hearts :) and within an atmosphere of understanding :) of purehearted love :) and generosity :) people :) and animals :) and everything :) feel so much better :) so much relief :) One of my best friends said those same words to me after sharing time with me for a little while just recently :) ‘I feel better’ :) they said :) If they :) and so many other people :) can feel better :) after sharing just a short time with me :) and getting such a small dose of the health I carry with me now :) imagine how much health it’s possible for people to absorb :) when they get many doses :) many ‘booster shots’ :) of health :) by studying and training in this science :) consistently over time :) I’m sharing this whole training programme :) and all its resources :) so you :) and everyone :) can study :) learn :) and absorb :) health :) and happiness :)

“Is the world a cesspit?” :) It doesn’t have to be :) We can feel so much better :) We can get relief :)

It is possible :) for us to make our own individual world :) as well as our collective world :) on this planet :) ‘feel better’ :) It doesn’t need to be a cesspit :) that makes us feel sick of it :) and like we’ve had enough :) If you train well :) in this science :) and use all these resources :) I’m sharing with you all :) very well :) I’m sure you’ll understand :) and feel so much better :) get out of the cesspit :) the sicknesses :) and ‘had enough’ attitude :) enjoy a beautiful life :) and contribute to making such a happier :) healthier :) and more harmonious :) and heavenly :) humorous :) world :)
